I still see the value of this feature, but I had to cut it to "simplify" the app because I couldn't figure out how to indicate this sudden "level switch" in the student info section. For example, say you've been assessing a student whose default level you set to "Bloom's: Comprehension" for a few weeks and then you raise the level "on the fly" one day up to "Bloom's: Application." You don't necessarily want to change the student's default level permanently -- it's just that you recognize the student is, as you say, "having an amazing day," and you want to raise the bar on the spot. You've been recording this student's scores at the "Bloom's: Comprehension" level and suddenly you introduce a question at a higher level. In the data section, there would need to be a new data set to indicate his or her performance at that level, even though it was just for one question -- otherwise, if the student's score was averaged with all the previous scores, it would skew the data and cease to be a true reflection of his or her performance at the "Bloom's: Comprehension" level. I just need to figure out how best to implement this feature into the app. This feature will come...I think it's much needed, too. In the meantime, thanks for your patience and kind words! I'm glad you're finding it useful!!

Thanks for your feedback!Buzz Garwoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13168543996614036863noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5563325082025634018.post-49780980040156789702012-11-01T10:35:43.113-07:002012-11-01T10:35:43.113-07:00I am certainly interested in the ability to upload...I am certainly interested in the ability to upload student lists (maybe from a CSV file), but I am also VERY interested in the ability to change the "level" of questioning after having picked a stick. I am NOT interested in doing away with the default questioning level (love that feature), but if a student is having an amazing day, I would like to be able to raise the bar on the spot!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
